Scope of the Interlaboratory Proficiency Testing

The scope of this proficiency testing is to assess the analytical performance of testing laboratories in the execution of the leaching test according to standard EN 12457-2:2002 on sewage sludge, solid waste and similar matrices.

Interlaboratory proficiency testing organized in accordance with the standard ISO/IEC 17043:2010 - Conformity assessment — General requirements for proficiency testing and accredited by ACCREDIA, Italian accreditation body, with the accreditation number PTP n. 0014 P. ANALYSIS

The analysis must be performed following the analytical procedure prescribed by the standard EN 12457-2:2002 "Characterisation of waste - Leaching - Compliance test for leaching of granular waste materials and sludges - Part 2: One stage batch test at a liquid to solid ratio of 10 l/kg for materials with particle size below 4 mm (without or with size reduction)".

For each measurand, one measurement result shall be reported.
